What Our Travellers Say
Important Information
Is tiger sighting guaranteed?
No. The Sundarbans is home to the Royal Bengal Tiger, but wildlife sightings are never guaranteed and depend on natural animal movement. You may encounter spotted deer, wild boar, crocodiles, monitor lizards, dolphins and many birds.
What if the safari route changes?
Safari routes, watchtowers and the itinerary are set by the Sundarban Tiger Reserve Authority and may change due to weather, conservation work or census activity. Dobanki & Sajnekhali watchtowers are closed on Tuesdays; the Jhorkhali route is covered instead.
Is a photo ID compulsory?
Yes. A valid photo ID is mandatory for all guests. Foreign nationals must carry their original passport, and forest permit fees for non-Indian guests are not included.
ATM & network availability?
Please carry sufficient cash, as ATM access is limited (only one SBI ATM at Gosaba). Mobile network can be weak inside the forest zones.
Suitable for families & solo travellers?
Yes. This is a group tour (minimum group size 20; private tours on request with a minimum of 4 guests). Solo travellers are welcome and may be merged with a group.
Cancellation & refund policy?
Full refund if a group cannot be formed on your booked date; full or partial refund for cancellations due to natural disasters. No refund for delays caused by traffic, vehicle/boat issues or other operational reasons.
