Refund & Cancellation Policy

At GoSundarban, we understand that travel plans can change. This policy explains the terms related to cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling of tour packages and services booked through us.

Booking & Advance Payment

All bookings require an advance payment to confirm reservations for hotels, transport, boats, and forest permits. The balance amount must be paid as per the timeline shared during booking confirmation.

Failure to make payments on time may result in automatic cancellation of the booking.

Cancellation by Customer

Cancellation charges depend on the type of service booked, season, and third-party provider policies. The following general guidelines apply:

If cancellation is made more than 7 days before the travel date, refund will be processed after deducting applicable service charges, hotel charges, and permit fees.

If cancellation is made between 3 to 7 days before the travel date, partial refund may be applicable after deducting hotel, transport, and administrative charges.

If cancellation is made within 72 hours of the travel date or in case of no-show, no refund will be applicable.

Forest permits, entry tickets, and government fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Cancellation by GoSundarban

In rare situations where a tour is cancelled by GoSundarban due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural calamities, weather conditions, government restrictions, or safety concerns, customers may choose to reschedule the tour or receive a refund after deducting non-recoverable costs already paid to service providers.

Refund Process

Eligible refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation. Refunds will be made through the original mode of payment or via bank transfer.

GoSundarban is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways.

Rescheduling Policy

Date changes or rescheduling requests are subject to availability and approval by hotels, transport providers, and forest authorities. Rescheduling charges, if any, will be informed in advance.

Unused Services

No refund will be provided for unused services such as meals, sightseeing, boat rides, or early check-outs once the tour has started.

Important Notes

Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed and shall not be considered a valid reason for cancellation or refund.

Tour itineraries may change due to weather, wildlife movement, or administrative requirements. Such changes do not qualify for refunds.
